The Freecycle Network: Changing the world one gift at a time

Started in May 2003 to promote waste reduction in Tucson's downtown and help save the desert landscape from being taken over by landfills, the Freecycle Network™ is a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people made up of many individual groups across the globe,  who are giving and getting stuff for free in their own towns. Membership is free and if there is not a local group near you then seriously consider starting one as so many good and worthy things are just thrown away. If you are looking to save money through shared ownership then this delivers value while also saving money, something every co-buyer has an interest in. This is top of the pile to Co-Buyers and as Freecycle says “one person’s trash can truly be another’s treasure”
